Trying to use it with other GPS enable application is a waste of time. The only problem I can see with the unit is the total lack of a manual, the little data sheet that comes in the box is OK if you know something about your PDA or laptop if you are using it in one of those but if you are the typical computer user, you may have to find a 12 year old kid, or computer geek to help set things up.

I found iGuidnce and installed that on an 8 Gig SD card, it fit OK on my 2 gig card but I wanted my other software available too now that is some neat software, and pairing this receiver, my Axim and iGuidance up I would put the unit up against the best out there and beat most of them hands down.
