No Audio on MSI GM-P23 (FX)
Initially, I installed all the drivers provided on the disc that came with the motherboard. It seems that I was having problem focusing. So how do I get it replaced under the warranty?
And how long till I get the replacement?

Too much things are going on. In your audio control panel, is it set for digital or analog out? I have one last question about the board.
I guess the ports are defective. I am not sure what you mean by XFM.

I would like to know what is wrong with the on-board audio. The analog jack ports are completely grayed out. They are all pin connections for the front audio panel.

I completely missed your reply. Home Help Search Login Register. But that still doesn't fix the problem. After getting everything up and running, I xudio out that the sound is not working. Or something else is wrong?

Well, I tested the connector port off of the case and it still doesn't work. Please login or register. The Realtek High Definition Audio always has "Not plugged in" status even if its rear audio jack is connected.
JAUD1 has no jumper. Once it's changed from digital to analog out then the rear jacks should work just fine. How do I change it to "Analog Out"? I read somewhere on AMD website that their software allows that configuration as long as the drivers for both are compatible or something of that sort.
I can't find the setting for that. If I'm not mistaken those jumpers are only needed on the older AL'97 audio when not using front panel jacks, not the newer HD audio.

I was able to get everything to work except for the on-board audio. So I went to the MSI website to get the latest version for the audio. I believe, my computer identified it to be ATI Radeon I am wondering if the on-board graphic and my graphic card can work together for dual display using their individual VGA port.
I am using the latest realtek driver. Also, I can't test the front audio jacks, because I used my old mid-tower case, which its audio connector seems to be incompatible with the pins of 760fm-p23, but I doubt not connecting JAUD1 won't cause the rear audio jack not to work.
As far as front panel JAUD1 don't worry about that if you won't be using headphones there. I thought there is a software setting for that.
